APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR DUBLIN DANCE FESTIVAL 2022

Are you a student or recent graduate looking for work experience in an international arts organisation? If so, The Dublin Dance Festival has two exciting positions available for you!

For the 2022 Edition, festival organisers are looking for a Digital Communications Assistant and a Programme & Events Assistant to join our team.

Both DDF internships offer invaluable experience in a dynamic international arts festival with exciting opportunities to learn in a supportive and professional environment.

Interns will become part of the DDF Family and make a vital contribution to the success of the Festival, while developing key skills, building relationship with industry stakeholder and enjoying Festival events.

About The Festival

DDF believes in bringing people together to experience exceptional dance – dance that moves us, connects us, and makes us think about the world we live in. Each year in May DDF present the very best dance from around the world in venues throughout Dublin. DDF also support dance artists in Ireland through residency, commission and partnership opportunities, and by offering a vital international platform for new work. DDF believe in reaching and uniting diverse communities through creative expression and are active year-round sharing dance with new people and places through innovative engagement projects.

About The Internship

The Digital Communications Assistant internship is suited to a student working towards a qualification in communications / marketing or a related area, or a recent graduate who wants to gain work experience in an international arts organisation.

Role: Digital Communications Assistant

Duration: 5 months (starting w/c 26 January 2022)

Time Commitment: Jan-Feb (2 days per week), March (3 days per week), Apr (4 days per week), May (full time with regular evening event work during the Festival: 19-31 May), June (2 days a week) and is suited to a student working towards a qualification in communications / marketing or a related area, or a recent graduate who wants to gain work experience in an international arts organisation.

The Programme & Events Assistant internship is suited to a student working towards a qualification in arts management/ event management/ performing arts or a related area, or a recent graduate who wants to gain work experience in an international arts organization.

Role: Programme & Events Assistant

Duration: 5 months from February to June 2012

Time Commitment: Flexible with proposed schedule as follows: Feb (2 days per week), Mar (3 days per week), Apr to May (full time with regular evening event work during the Festival), Jun (2 days per week).
