This unique internship programme is offered in partnership with an international hostel and adventure centre. The centre in based in a beautiful rural location in the west of Ireland close to Galway city.

The centre features 23 dorms, dining areas as well as an adventure centre which offers such sports as archery, kayaking, wake boarding, orienteering and much more.

Every weekend the centre welcomes international backpackers as well as school groups, summer camps and youth groups.

General responsibilities include serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, light cleaning duties, reception assistance and managing reservations.

The working week is 5 days a week, 35 hours a week, 7 hours a day. Each day includes a one-hour lunch and a smaller 15-minute break. Any hours outside of the agreed hours are paid for.

Assistants also enjoy 2 days off per week to enjoy the facilities, socialise or travel to Galway city for shopping or cultural activities.

This programme offers you the opportunity to work in an exciting environment with staff from all over the world, with some coming for the summer months from European colleges or on Erasmus+ programmes.

The application process takes from four to six weeks.

Once you return your application form our internship team will then start contacting our partners to find the perfect internship for you following a deposit payment of €200.

Once we find an internship for you and you are happy with our choice of company and location, we will then liaise with your chosen company to confirm internship and request the necessary documentation.

We will also arrange a Skype interview if necesaary.

Once you agreed on a start date, we will then invoice you the balance for the placement fee.

If you decide to cancel your internship before the start date, our cancellation policy applies.

When you complete your internship the company will then provide a Certificate of Completion and a work reference.

A minimum level Intermediate (B1) is required for our Internship in Ireland programme.

This internship programme includes food and accommodation, sharing with one other assistant in staff quarters.
