INTERNSHIP DETAILS
This internship programme is available from two weeks duration and has been developed with some of Ireland’s leading tour operators. It would suit candidates interested in persuing a career in tourism, marketing and public relations.
During your time on this programme, you will spend a number of days travelling around Ireland under the role of ‘mystery shopper’ on various day tours, visiting such popular sites as Cliffs of Moher, Titanic Museum and Belfast City. Your main duties involve reporting on the quality and performance of the drivers and reporting back to management.
Additional responsibilities may also be required in the area of social media marketing such as updating Instagram accounts and Facebook pages as well as various public relations duties.
This internship opportunity offers the candidate a chance to work with young, exciting companies, to explore Ireland, meet people and to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the tourism sector.
HOW TO APPLY
The application process takes from four to six weeks.
Once you return your application form our internship team will then start contacting our partners to find the perfect internship for you following a deposit payment of €200.
Once we find an internship for you and you are happy with our choice of company and location, we will then liaise with your chosen company to confirm internship and request the necessary documentation.
We will also arrange a Skype interview if necesaary.
Once you agreed on a start date, we will then invoice you the balance for the placement fee.
If you decide to cancel your internship before the start date, our cancellation policy applies.
When you complete your internship the company will then provide a Certificate of Completion and a work reference.
A minimum level Intermediate (B1) is required for our Internship in Ireland programme.
ACCOMMODATION
Due to the early-morning start of the day tours, it is necessary to live within close proximity to the city centre and to reflect this, city centre residence is included.
We offer comfortable en-suite single and double-room / twin room options in self service accommodation in both the Temple Bar and Smithfield areas of the city centre. You will be sharing with other interns and international adult students.
