Are you passionate about farming, working in a dairy farm or considering a career in the farming industry?

Agricultural Internships in Ireland offer you the hands-on experience necessary to pursue a career in agriculture and to immerse yourself in the Irish farming industry.

This programme is offered in partnership with several family-run Irish farms, all compliant with Irish farming laws and with experience in hosting international interns and is for placements of 4 – 12 weeks.

It is designed for students currently undertaking agricultural or related academic programmes. Farming experience is not required but recommended.

This programme suits candidates who wish to pursue a career in such areas as;

• Dairy Farming
• Animal Care
• Horse Groomer
• Animal Technician
• Agricultural & Food Scientist
• Crop Management

Included in this programme is a return airport transfer to the farm, 24-hour emergency assistance and a completion of internship certificate.

The application process takes from four to six weeks.

Once you return your application form our internship team will then start contacting our partners to find the perfect internship for you following a deposit payment of 50% of the programme cost.

Once we find a placement for you and you are happy with our choice of farm and location, we will then confirm start and finish dates and request the necessary documentation. We can of course assist in Erasmus+ documentation when required!

If you decide to cancel your internship before the start date, our cancellation policy applies.

When you complete your internship the company will then provide a Certificate of Completion and a work reference.

A minimum level Intermediate (B1) is required for our Agricultural Internships in Ireland programme and experience or current enrolment in a related academic course is compulsory.

Accommodation is offered on-site on a full-board basis.

Programme cost depends on the duration of the programme.
